 Snohomish County Medical Reserve Corps

The Medical Reserve Corps is actively recruiting volunteers to help in our community.  Trainings are developed to help volunteers meet the current needs in the community.

Health professionals and support people are encouraged to join the MRC.  Some of the skills needed are:  interviewing patients, first aid, nursing, answering phones, translating and interpreting and more!  If you have any of these skills and want to help your community, now is a great time to volunteer!

SNOHOMISH COUNTY FILE OF LIFE PROJECT

A coalition of organizations has come together to support the FILE OF LIFE PROJECT in Snohomish County.  The goal is to get a File of Life into every home in Snohomish County.  The File of Life is a tool that includes a form for individuals to enter information on emergency contacts, medical information, allergies, necessary medications, insurance numbers and more.  It fits into a bright red plastic envelope with a magnet on the back so it easily attaches to the refrigerator at home or the file cabinet at work.  Also included in the envelope is information on the SPONSORS AND ENDORSERS of the project.  Sponsors have helped the project to obtain the File of Life and Endorsers have helped to get the File of Life distributed throughout the community.  For more information on becoming either a Sponsor or an Endorser, please contact Therese Quinn.
